 HELLO // XIN CHÀO
Hi I'm cindy and i write mid poetry.
Welcome to my blog where I share my works in poetry (mostly) and prose (like once every half a year). 
I update this blog quite often, around once every two weeks or so. Sometimes when I'm in the mood for it i would write multiple poems at once. they're all very mid, have no cadence, and make no sense (of course). I post them anyways.

You'll find that most of the works on this blog has similar vocabulary. Well yes because my vocab can only go so far. Like, what other words are there for "blood?" I write gore quite often, so um yeah. I only have that many words. 

Last summer, I wrote What I Left and What Left Me. It was just a random piece about nostalgia as usual. I get nostalgic and regret things a lot. (ANYWAYS...!) I really like the writing and wanted to share it with the world, which is how and why this blog was created. I did spend a lot of time struggling with the Blogspot UI but it is super super fun lol＞﹏＜. 
The name Cin-digi Journal is a mix of my name, "digital," and "journal." Took me like six or seven different names before I ended up with this one. I like it very much.

LABELS
i dont really try that hard to sort my works. each work all falls into one or more of these categories (wait isn't that how categorization w-). You can click on each of the bolded texts to go to that page. 

English: I'd say that around 90% of the work here is English
Vietnamese: Những bài viết bằng tiếng Việt. Rất rất ít do t ko viết nhiều
poetry (thơ): the vadette of this blog. The work here is mostly poetry because I suck at prose
short stories: In the very rare events of me writing prose (which i'm terrible at), here are some short stories. 
dedicated to...: some works are dedicated to my friends. I don't usually put their names there. works I write with a certain person in mind can also fall under this category.
gore: Uhhhh, yea. Btw shoutout to David Sodergren. 
fanfic: I wrote one and never tried again. SeungIn always real tho otp mãi đỉnh mãi keo
fluff: sometimes i feel like loving my life and write about sweet romantic stuff. Which isn't  often, but there's a label for it. 
monthly archive: A monthly collection of short poems (usually one stanza to <4 or short prose) that I keep in my notes app during a month. I post them to empty the app. I like them but the poem themselves aren't worth individual posts. I have a lot of creativity i need to get out order to save myself from letting that creativity rot into sadness. So there's that...
my favorites: this is very self-explainatory, no?
death: I write about this ...not much, but enough for it to get its own category. some of the stuff in this category also mention suicide.

Moon Through My Window

I opened the window as wide as I could, Then I took off the window screen. It's dusty, scabby with blood From cadavers of insects that I found obscene.  My hand has been part of their deaths My eyes saw things I now regret But I opened it anyways, and threw the screen off of my bed.  There, the moon waits patiently. I feel as if you're here, Shining so bright in the sky,  clearing out my pain and fear. The cicadas sing, a nocturnal hymn Melancholic and humble, an orchestra when the sky dims.  Now that everything is cleared, I sit on the window sill, legs aching.       Sunset filters through the cracks of our lives I lie in the bathtub, bleeding dry Drowning in blood, I cry My body falls apart until breathing feels light. There's my water supply, running away  down my breasts, carrying my youth-blue days It pulls the salty tears out of my eyelids Then my saliva bubbles and dissipates.  Moths in my stomach where butterflies should've flied Intestines vomit an empty pack of Camel, a half-digested serenade, mold from the bile of his bites.
